At AGC we aim to provide our learners with a comprehensive teaching-and-learning approach that instils, nurtures and encourages, above all, an intrinsic Love for Islam.
All aspects pertaining to Quran-study and sunnah inform all our instructions in this department.

We have integrated the Imam Ghazali’s Children’s Series into the CAPS curriculum with the intention of generating amongst our learners from the Foundation Phase upwards, an awareness of what it is to be a ‘ truly good human being’ and thus set them on what we hope would be a life-long experiential journey. Insha Allah.

We endeavour to develop in our learners critical-thinking skills so that, when they complete and leave school, they are able to navigate their lives in this very challenging world, successfully and confidently as Muslims.

Islamic events and inspirational, illumined personalities are also taught and celebrated in order to echo and emphasise the invaluable, all-encompassing heritage of Islam as a way of life.
